S17343 – Tapiolite-(Fe)
Fine, steep, sculptural crystals are fairly uncommon from Alto Ligonha, Mozambique. Seen here in clearly defined and pointed morphology of bright metallic patina. This specimen turned out to be tapiolite, the dimorph of tantalite, and came from dealer Walt Lidstrom.
