S13846 – Zoisite

This is an uncommon set of parallel multi-terminated crystals on matrix from Tanzania. The
color is strong and saturated, the form perfect, and it looks ikonic perched up on its base of sparkling graphite. This thing GLOWS in person, showing pronounced
color change and an all natural blue. The crystal extends in a lengthwise direction, a habit less known from
this area, which exhibits a very striking effect for display. Its impressive trichroic properties give this zoisite a very high aesthetic. SUPERB pieces continue to be thinly occurring at the world famous Merelani deposit. No damage.
