S16448 – Calcite

This specimen of calcite is entirely pristine, complete and undamaged with no real point of attachment as if it were lifted directly out of the pocket. The external form and three-dimensional aesthetic is great and rarely come this nice, with its well terminated side crystal. A cast of lovely rose pink fills this piece and is very attractive in its own delicate way. Ex. Ward Schuyler collection
