The famous Comstock Lode is one of the most known silver camps and its silver-gold ore body produced specimens such as this sliced piece. The speckled surface of shiny gold and reflective silver can be easily seen in the photo, along with an old faded label. Any quality specimens from the Comstock are very hard to obtain.
