S16492 – Hubnerite
This rust-colored cluster is quite choice for the locality, for a spray, and for its condition. Also, this is a Columbine Mineral Shop/ Benjy Kuehling specimen.
S12476 – Hubnerite
Exceptional hubnerite from here! In large part due to the main doubly terminated crystal that extends over the bottom
half of snow-white quartz and measures a whopping two inches! Good crystals of reddish brown are not easy to
obtain. A funny story of how these came about, starts with Ed McDole who apparently etched the entire lot in
hydrofluoric acid in a hotel BATHTUB. Geez…
