S14855 – Elbaite

This delicious cranberry-red spray is amazingly colorful and bold with lots of flash. It would almost be your typical red elbaite specimen, except for its “Moor’s Head” type of terminations, which uncommonly transition to lovely black caps. This sharply contrasting set of crystals is simply mesmerizing and the overall effect is striking. Ex Cal Graeber

S14458 – Elbaite

Most Cruzeiro tourmaline of this style from the 1960s era didn’t survive to the present time. The remarkable clarity and distinctive color gradation make it riveting. This crystal goes from colorless “achroite” to hot red in hue. This isn’t just a pretty gem crystal though, it comes to life with a brighter level of intensity and overall brightness than most others I have seen. The quality is extremely high with lots of flash, and its termination is entirely free of damage.
