Such malachites have been sought after since they were first discovered at Bisbee, and the locality has churned out more than its share of them, but this type of smooth natural malachite is nicer than most consisting of quality throughout. Compared to the hard luster kind that is usually buffed.

This high caliber specimen is an impactful model of an azurite rose. This is classic, old-time material, and to find one with top luster is all important. The quality can be seen in its color, which emits deep, electric blue highlights.
