S24470 – Calcite
This old chromium deposit known primarily for kammererite was discovered in 1848. The wonderful and exotic raspberry-red crystals is a super accessory to porcelain-white calcite, and only this famous mine could produce such aesthetics and rarity. This is still one of the nicest calcites from the area, very unusual.
S19648 – Clinochlore
It’s been a long time since Turkey produced really good specimens of kammererite, so it was nice to locate this specimen in a collection recently, with its exotic color that made Kop Krom material famous. This one is especially rich in deep raspberry-red crystals.
