Very fine for a thumb. This witherite from Illinois is a highly glossy, super-slick single with a bit of adhering matrix.

S21819 – Fluorite

An appealing combination of zoned fluorite and shiny sphalerite that is undamaged and complete all around. This display, with glassy faces and partially etched corners is classic.

Seen here is rich amounts of sharp white barite, with chiseled terminations in groups placed over matrix. Really remarkably good coverage measuring 17 x 10.5 cm without damage.

A fine and glassy barite specimen from a 1980s find in the Cave-in-Rock district in Illinois. Sharply bladed crystals from all sides and pretty pale blue make up this excellent full-sized thumbnail.
