S20133 – Phosgenite

The Monteponi mine in Sardinia produced exceptional crystals of phosgenite. This high quality, tabular crystal is a good example of irregular outline. Most prominent though is condition, entirely free of chips. A fantastic classic dating back to the latter half of the 19th century, though the mines are much older.

S17842 – Anglesite

This piece, seemingly gray and opaque in appearance, is stunningly reflective and vibrant, with a rich, natural silvery patina that gives off the appearance of an electroplated coating. The anglesite is actually transparent, resulting in a smoky yellow clear gem interior. This one is from old production, now classic material, without flecks of damage.
