S23647 – Copper
Highly exposed and sharp 1.7 cm crystal projecting from its center of bronze patina. A particularly appealing copper miniature without damage.
S18235 – Calcite
In Michigan, the Quincy mine is noted for this type of inclusion, and the optical properties of calcite enclosing native copper is undoubtedly among the finest styles of any class. In some of these specimens such as this you can really see the bright, fresh internal glow. The calcite itself is crystal clear and the specimen is pretty much complete by comparison.
S16882 – Copper
Wow, nonelastic and a near floater of copper crystals that came out of the historic and famous Quincy Mine in Houghton County, Michigan. This statuesque specimen is complete on all sides with pretty red patina and an antique finish.
