S10846 – Austinite

Exceptional cabinet specimen of gemmy austinite! Various Tsumeb books mention this species as abundant from the
mine though I have only seen two significant pieces of eye visible crystals from this pocket. Typical of the great locality,
we have larger than average crystals, 4 mm to be exact, against contrasting white dolomite. Species has been confirmed via analysis.
