S11526 – Zincolivenite

The world famous minerals from Tsumeb occur in such splendid associations and perfect crystallizations that they
exceed many specimens from rivaling localities. Here is one example we rarely see. This doubly terminated azurite crystal of 3.2 cm sits on dark-green zincian olivenite. Without question, there are some fantastic azurite combinations from the mine and all the more reason why I believe this distinction ranks with some of the finest. Ex Phil Scalisi collection
