S13248 – Fluorapatite

Some of the nicest fluorapatite specimens come from tin veins in Bolivia, notably smooth sharp lavender crystals on
sulfide ore. These gemmy purple beauties remain RARE IN COLLECTIONS and without telltale matrix should be
questionable. This one has wonderful pyrite cubes on the backside. Frosted on the c-axis but otherwise glassy, this
crystal of 1.5 cm is a gem.
