S15374 – Mimetite

These are really impressive crystals of mimetite from the Rowley mine in Arizona. And, the aesthetic is excellent, because the barite is smothered with saffron-red intensity (accurately shown in this photo). For a thumbnail of mimetite, I cannot imagine anything more beautiful than this piece.
