S15780 – Fluorite

An old-time Namibian fluorite specimen from the dealer stock of Scott Williams with his label that dates to 1955-1961. It is likely to have come from the construction of the Pforte train station from 1898 til 1902. A distinct, very sharp, octahedral form of pronounced glossy faces and preferential texture make this an interesting piece.
