S16398 – Kaolinite

An important pseudomorph specimen of kaolinite after orthoclase nicely preserved over the years. A history of noteworthy labels comes with the piece, that of collector Angela Georgina Burdett-Coutts (1814-1906) and well-known dealer John Albanese. It eventually went into the collection of Bill McBride.
