This specimen is one of the finest Tsumeb pseudomorphs I have ever handled. This remarkable oldtimer came from Sid Pieters in the early 1960s before being passed to Eugene Wilson, and eventually ending up in the Bolyard collection, so we have the whole trail from 1963 til now. They essentially liquidated their collection. This exact pocket from the Tsumeb mine is highly unusual and very hard to obtain. This double pseudomorph is two shades of malachite after azurite, along with striking arsentsumebite after mimetite.
