S19931 – Gypsum

This undamaged V-shaped pair of “swallowtail” twins hits such a high degree of quality – they actually appear wet. Clarity and golden-tangerine saturation make these some of the finest selenites in the world, with this specimen in the top 1 percent. This 2003 find is still as fresh as the day it was found.
